I retired as group publisher and editorial director of nearly two dozen business, technical and scientific magazines. Then I spent several years as an adjunct professor of communication.Then came the stroke. To get my voice back, I returned to Toastmasters. Through neuroplasticity, my voice returned; I won a few speech contests and became a Distinguished Toastmaster.To give back, I decided to sponsor and mentor this club which is for people like me whose brain lost their voice. It is a safe, supportive, and very effective place to find your voice again.
