Notes
I was a widow, a grandmother, a friend and community member before I had my stroke in Nov 2017. I am still all of these things, but now I have aphasia and apraxia, which makes it hard to communicate and get my needs known. With lots of speech therapy help and talking to other people, I have come a long ways in the 8 years since my stroke.My career was a great one, teaching 3-5 year old children and directing Preschool programs in California,for 25 years. Now I like to spend time with 3 grandsons and 1granddaughter.I also enjoying talking with amazing people in our Articulate AphasicsToastmasters group in the past year!
