Ms. Mert transferred to AATM club in April 2025 as a Charter Member from Polished Professional Advanced Toastmasters club. She joined that club in 2018 after a short sabbatical from Greater Newark Area Toastmasters club where she began her journey in 2007. There she earned her Distinguished Toastmaster award in 2014. Todate, she has completed Visionary Communication and Presentation Mastery pathways. Mert hopes to inspire others as she shares her insights and strengths that were gathered through her own trials and tribulations after her ischemic stroke resulting with expressive aphasia over 20 years ago.
